Overview: DARKMATTER is a trans south asian performance art duo compromised of Alok Vaid-Menon and Janani Balasubramanian. Based in New York City, DarkMatter regularly performs to sold-out houses at venues like La MaMa Experimental Theater, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, and the Asian-American Writer's Workshop. DarkMatter was recently part of the Public Theater's Under the Radar Festival as well as the Queer International Arts Festival. I was pleasantly surprised. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Glad I picked this up.

Really enjoyed this one. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
