Con il passare degli anni la passione per la cultura e la casa editrice da lui fondata nel 1954 non gli bastarono più. E imboccò la strada che lo avrebbe portato alla tragica morte il 14 marzo 1972, aspirante condottiero di un esercito che esisteva soltanto nei suoi sogni.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
